We are a Sushi bar and Japanese restaurant which takes as its design inspiration the classic and timeless qualities of the Douglas DC-3 airplane. Combining innovative design with culinary excellence, Sushi Airways now arguably ranks amongst some of Singapore’s top Japanese restaurants.

Located within walking distance of the very hip and trendy Haji Lane, we are smack in the centre of the quaint, colourful and bohemian Arab Street / Kampong Glam neighborhood of Bugis. Through the windows of our 2nd-storey restaurant ‘airplane’, you will enjoy the buzz of Arab Street, literally looking down, in air-con comfort whilst enjoying delicious Japanese cuisine. And all this in a truly unique interior which London’s Evening Standard has described as being one of the ‘Top 5 Instagrammable Restaurants in Singapore’.

Ever popular with lovers of fine Japanese food, we pride ourselves on providing the freshest sushi and sashimi to our customers. Choice seafood is flown in at least four times a week from Japan to satisfy even the most critical and discerning of palates.

We offer an a-la-carte ‘Flight Manual’ menu featuring our perennial favorites, complemented with fresh refreshments. An accompanying Seasonal Menu highlighting choice seasonal Japanese delicacies flown in that very day is also updated daily to reflect the latest arrivals.

Our Chef also offers his specially curated Modern Japanese Omakase beautifully and artfully presented in non-traditional fashion to delight your senses. (Omakase means ‘I’ll leave it up to you’ in Japanese). This is highly recommended for true aficionados of fine Japanese cuisine. It can be tailored to suit dietary restrictions and preferences and requires at least a day’s notice in advance.

For those who prefer a light sampler, we do offer a choice of set lunches with affordable prices that are perfect for that quick business lunch or as a break from shopping at Haji Lane.
